Famagusta District Sailing Club

"BegaFigo" Famagusta District  Sailing Club was founded in May 2002 by a group of sailors whose wish was to give everybody an opportunity to experience the thrill and friendship that only sailing can bring. “BegaFigo” in Latin means Ampelopouli”, a popular small seabird that flies miles of sea every spring from Africa to Cyprus and nests in our club’s environment. Today the club numbers more than 140 registered members and 40 sailboats as well as a sailing and windsurfing academy.
